Overview OLDOur Goals

An impressive portfolio of oil and gas assets in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico with over 18 years of operating history has cemented SapuraOMV's impressive capabilities in exploration, monitising discoveries, innovation and cost-effective solutions whilst maintaining a consistent safety track record.

The formation of a strategic partnership between Sapura E&P and OMV gave birth to a new associate entity; SapuraOMV Upstream.

This partnership has identified Malaysia as a strategic hub for expansion into Asia Pacific. Their combined strengths and expertise will undoubtedly pave the way for SapuraOMV to rise as a global independent oil and gas corporation.

Our goals:

  • Maintaining excellence in safe explorations

  • Utilising advanced and cost-effective solutions in exploration, development, and production

  • Reaching a production of 100kboe/d via organic growth, mergers, and acquisitions in the coming decade

  • To head towards 2030 Net Zero Carbon Emissions by committing our resources and capabilities to beat climate change and preserve our environment.
